We worked with senior leadership to develop a strategy and product offering that addressed the social innovation and brand objectives of Fortune 500 companies. The result led to multiple corporate partnerships, significant media coverage and the establishment of a groundbreaking, 21st century learning portal available to educators globally.

RESEARCH & BRAND INNOVATION, TV & PRINT
CHALLENGE

Delta Dental wanted to address a simple misconception amongst the target: that Delta Dental sold medical insurance. In fact they only do one thing, but do it really well—dental insurance. This was the focus of the campaign.

ANSWER

Cleverly highlighting the contradictory offerings of a variety of businesses ( who doesn’t need Minnows and Manicures) we accentuated the nature of the singular focus of Delta Dental.  After research and brand strategy pin-pointed the target,  a cross-media campaign was created with television and print to shift perception and reinvigorate the brand. To create impact, signs were set up around businesses in LA.  The signs were contradictory in nature and claimed that their business owners could do these contradictory things very well: Minnows and Manicures, for example.  The tagline cleared up the confusion for people.  ”Delta Dental. We only do dental.”
